details through a secure encrypted form.

Step-by-step guide to subscribing online
Please use the same forms for new subscriptions or renewals.
Mastercard/Eurocard, Visa/Electron, or Solo/Maestro are accepted.
When you 'subscribe online' you will be asked to:
1) Select membership details
- select membership category
- indicate if
new subscription or renewal
- select year that subscription begins (from 1 Jan)
- enter number of years of subscription
- select 'CONTINUE'
- you will pass to web pages with the address 'ww5.aitsafe.com'.
2) Review your selection
- optionally change your selection and 'Recalculate'
- optionally enter requests, for example, name or address to be
used for subscription if different to card owner
- select 'Go to payments'
3) Enter Purchase details
- name of member
- company (optional)
- address of member
- phone/fax/email addresses (email needed)
- select 'Continue'
4) Enter credit card details
- credit card owner name
- card number
- card verification number (last three digits of number
printed on signature strip of card)
- card expiry date.
5) Submit your application
- select 'Continue' to submit your application
- your credit card is processed immediately taking up to 60 seconds.
- your order number will be displayed
- you can return to Oriental Bird Club home.
What happens next?
You will be sent an automated email receipt to confirm your credit
card transaction has been approved by Secpay. The credit card
account is debited immediately in UK £ pounds.
Later your subscription will be processed by OBC officers who will
send you a further email to confirm your membership request.

(but
not the credit card details!).
Is the credit card data collected securely?
We use industry-standard SSL secured server technology
to collect your application and credit card details. Your application
information, including card numbers, names and addresses, is encrypted
so that it cannot be read as it travels over the internet.
The secure server is operated by Mal's E-commerce Limited. When
credit card details are being collected your web browser will display
the address https://ww5.aitsafe.com and show a closed padlock icon.
